Calvert Crabs and Seafood, located in the heart of Prince Frederick, MD, serves handmade food using fresh ingredients sourced from local watermen, farmers, and other small businesses as much as possible. We offer appetizers, sandwiches, baskets, platters, party platters, lunch boxes, on-site catering and crab feasts. Our daily sides range from homemade collard greens, potato salad, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese or green beans with bacon. Our most popular items, however, are our steamed crabs, shrimp, oysters, homemade crab cakes, seafood baskets, and much more. We would love the opportunity to serve you. We went a few months back and got a seafood boil. Everything tasted wonderful. As newbies, we weren't sure how to crack open the crabs but they were happy to show us!Due to my own negligence, I did slice my finger on the shell, and they gave me two bandaids so I could change it to a fresh one after eating the boil. Service was above and beyond.If we lived closer, I would've definitely been back several times over.

I want to say I was very pleased with the food I got which was female crabs, soft shells , fried oysters, grilled cheese an they were all good!!! Shanon treated me like she knew me all my life treated me with respect an dignity! She answered all my questions an explained the options an choices of the crabs an packed them for my 3 1/2 hour drive home. If your looking for seafood I would stop there an try it out!!!
